Return Policy
We are happy to accept full-price returns within these terms:
~You must start the return process within 3 business days of receiving merchandise. Please visit the FAQ page for specific instructions. Any items returned after 21 days from original purchase, will not be issued a refund regardless of reason.
~Merchandise must have been purchased directly through thebaskshop.com
~You must provide receipt or proof of purchase.
~Merchandise must be in the original and brand new condition that you received it, meaning, unused, unwashed, unaltered, original tags still intact, and in its original packaging.
~Merchandise refunds are contingent upon inspection of product once it's received by us.
~Unless it is deemed defective, we will not accept refunds or exchanges on any merchandise that has been worn, used, or personalized.
~Unless we are at fault for the items being returned (ex: defective product or we shipped out the incorrect item), the shipping and handling charges for returns and/or exchanges are non-refundable.
~Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Please note:
1. Due to the nature of wood, no two pieces will be alike or be exactly as shown in pictures. Some pieces will come with their natural knots which only gives them added character and uniqueness and will not be accepted as a reason for return.
2. Due to the nature of the sun and washing habits, the material color brilliance may fade over time and is considered normal wear and tear and doesn't qualify as defective, therefore no refunds or exchanges will be accepted.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, gift cards, OR personalized custom orders.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
